I want to give all those cavers a hug for getting poor Abby out of there. I hope she’s recovering well and getting all the cuddles and treats.
Love the judgy cats (is there any other kind?) but a few of them look more like they’re plotting something nefarious…
Cat in a TV bed is probably a better watch than 99% of what’s on the actual TV these days…
Love the introvert dog meetup. My kinda meetup.
I’m really not club person but I would like to go this one…

My half-brother’s oldest child recently made a TV into a cat bed for their cat. I’ve got pictures of Willow reclining inside. It’s a great way to upcycle.
Really looking forward to all the linkies later. Still don’t have internet at home–hopefully tomorrow.
Sending hugs to you all, especially Duckie.

Oh that poor dog stuck in that cave for days in the dark.
I visited a cave once, it was in the U.S. somewhere I don’t remember the name of it but it was big one and the tour guide at one point turned off all the lights and immediately the walls closed in and and I swear I could feel the weight of the absolute total darkness. It only lasted maybe 30 seconds but it was one of the worst experience of my life.

There are caves near Hershey, PA (Indian Echo Caverns); we went there when I was a kid and they did the same thing. It’s kinda freaky; I would absolutely hate being in there alone.

Great links today.
Hey, peeps. Slept ok. Taking all meds ok. Still exhausted but swallowing is such an improvement. Haven’t eaten since last Thursday, which might be a contributing factor to the exhaustion, but I need to rest, so not an issue. Contemplating disco ball for Duckie, who has discovered new way of torturing hubby. She waits till he all comfy in his chair, and then she flies around her cage sending feathers everywhere. Hubby starts sneezing violently, and I comfort Duckie because of the noise.
Covid test NEGATIVE!

Yay! More good news!

The Mark of the Floof was a positive omen, after all. Only five days of Covid (with accompanying stupidity), and fewer than five hours at the hospital!
I’m sorry, Floof Mark. I should have trusted you.

Excellent news, Duckie!
Love all the links – poor doggo, it’s miracle she lived. I hope her family is taking really good care of her.
And now I want a disco ball for when I next get a cat.

Love judgey cats and disco kittens. Are they at Studio FiftyPurr? So happy puppers was found and reunited with its owner. Those are some dedicated cavers to bring her out, especially 500 feet straight up.
And yeah Duckie!!! Good to hear test was negative and you’re starting to feel better.

The disco kittens is a great demonstration of why kittens are proverbial for their cuteness. If a mutation gives them opposable thumbs, we’re finished.

After the technical unpleasantness, I have continued to have a problem: the site takes a long time to load, although it does eventually load. And my comments take a long time to load. Are other people having those problem? And when I tried to post this comment I got the error connecting to database, or something like that, message.

Same here, the home page loads pretty quick, but when I click on a link to view post comments, that takes a bit longer than it normally does.
Yes, the server continues to bog down in the afternoons. After many fruitless sessions with my host’s technical support, I may have no other choice but to move the site to a new host.

I’m so sorry for the aggravation you’re going through, and we get most of the benefit! Thank you!

Yes, having the same slow loading problems. It also tells me I last visited in March! Also that there is no descriptive info. for the site. The interwebs black hole must have it!
