Maru may look stuffy, but deep inside him there’s a playful kitten yearning to break free. Possibly two. And when his favorite toy comes out, they pounce into action.
But as playful as he is, even he doesn’t know what to make of the newest member of the family: a perfectly plush, pleasantly plump, portly pink pig!
Kitten Miri turns two years old, which gives us the perfect excuse to relive these highlights from her fun-filled year.
The best part about being two is that Miri can do grown-up stuff, like whapping Aunt Hana on the butt.

Maru’s rapt attention to the homemade toy is so sweet. Kitten Miri is a pistol! I am amazed at how high she climbs in the tree, that she climbs down, and that Mugumogu allows it.
I suspect that Mugumogu allows lots of things because she gets drunk every day in order to provide the cats with beer box corsets…
