Happy New Year, everyone. I watched Matilda the Musical (highly recommend), then Neal Brennan’s Blocks (standup special), both on Netflix. I didn’t even watch anything NYE-related, and was in bed by around 12:30.

Allein, same for me, I just watched some things on YouTube unrelated to NYE and turned in around the same time – my normal bedtime. I hate all the razzmatazz of those programs and the crowds make me claustrophobic!
I did watch a video this morning from CNN of Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper doing mystery shots…they weren’t allowed to drink this year so each hour they put on blinders and had to do a shot of something and try to figure out what it was (they put it on the screen so the audience knew) – pickle juice, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, and spicy bloody mary mix (sans vodka). They chased them with juice boxes Andy “stole” from his son (though I’m not sure it helped all that much). It was pretty funny.

Poor gorgeous bunneh, she jumped a tad too soon, just her pride took a hit. But symbolic for the way my new year started. I don’t make any resolutions but kudos to those who do. Happy New Year to everyone and hope that Mike, Teddy and Vera enjoy a good start to their year.
How appropriate, 2023 is Year of Bun after all.

Happy New Year from rainy and cold SoCal. Bun bun is too cute. Valkyrie has done that on numerous occasions, must be a fault in the aiming system, lol.
Glad most people had a quiet night in in. Same for us except the idiots were out in full force last night with fireworks/gun shots until around 1 am. Poor puppies didn’t sleep very well, had one under the covers with me and the other was hiding in hubby’s closet. In spite of lack of sleep, spent the day checking out cars to replace the one we totaled in the accident last month. Have it narrowed down to two so just need to figure out the finances and see which one we can afford. Here’s hoping tonight is quiet.
