I’ve had cats that did it, I’ve seen dogs do it and now a bunny but what I would like to know is why. If there was water on the glass I’d understand but there’s not so why lick it?

I have no idea! I’ve had gerbils and hamsters lick the glass cage walls like the elixir of life was on it! Never seen a bun do it cos they’ve never been close enough to a window. A mystery of the ages!

      Collecting other animals’ nose juices?

So pretty! And as to why, maybe there’s residue on it or it’s a way to gather info on their environment? Otherwise it’s just one of the great mysteries of the universe that may never be solved. Like why cats disappear and reappear somewhere else random in the house, usually behind shut doors.

What a cute bun—maybe a Rex? May s/he lick 👅 until satisfied, whatever the reason!

Yes, that is a Rex. Our buns would occasionally lick the sliding glass door. Sometimes I think it was because the glass was cold or had fogged up due to humidity. This precious bun can come clean the lower part of my door anytime.

Gorgeous bun and perfectly toasted, as Allein said. I never get tired of seeing pink bunny tongues.

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone celebrating.
