I’m just batty about bats and Batty their vet nurse. Life goal after retirement is to volunteer for a bat rescue group. Scooter has a face only a mother could love but it seems the me and the rest of the world agree with mom. As the song says, everyone is beautiful in their own way. Icelandic horses typing emails had me checking to see if this was an Onion news article. Good grief it is a thing!

The Icelandic horse email service is SOOOOOOO needed world wide! If I wasn’t retired I would go for it. So stupid to email people when they are not at work—esp on vacation!🏖️

I don’t think Scooter is ugly at all, Chinese Crested dogs almost always win the ugliest dog contest but I think they are cute.
Some of the photos of cats before and after adoption were hard to see, I know they are fine now but to see the condition they were in broke my heart.

So I am actually on vacation this week (hopefully nothing else comes up because I already changed yesterday from a vacation day to a half personal day, then my boss texted me last night and now he owes me another hour). So I went to the site and had one of the horses write me an out-of-office message.

You fill in the form (name, email, vacation end date) and it gives you the message with a little video of the horse on her giant keyboard against a lovely waterfall (sadly the video doesn’t become part of the email). Then it emails it to you in case “you are suffering from vacation brain and misplaced your horse-typed reply.” 😄
