So weird seeing an owl’s LEGS. I mean you know they’ve got them, you just think “feet” usually.
We kids used to do that in winter with hot air registers on the floor. We’d stand over them with nightgowns to catch the warm air. Pretty sure we looked like this owl!😁

Owlie reminds me of my childhood home that had a floor heater. We’d go stand over it on chilly winter mornings, letting the heat billow out our nightgowns.

PS Little Duckie had the sniffles yesterday, and my mom suggested I leave an open jar of Vick’s Vaporub by her cage for the evening. I just let her out now, and she is full of bean (she’s too tiny for more than one bean). Gramma is right again!

Tater Tot stole my heart and then owl cracked me up. Love his fluffy pantaloons and overskirt. I didn’t have the heat registers but the real old fashioned radiators. Used to leave my clothes on them over night so by the time I woke up, they were warm and I could reach over, grab them and change under the covers before getting out of bed. The joys of growing up in a late Victorian pile of a house in NJ.
Etta the Great Dane has gotten me right in the feels.

I have never considered hyenas as cute but that little one is adorable.
Wee Tater Tot stole my heart too, unfortunately the little guy crossed the rainbow bridge recently. I was heart broken hearing the news. His bedhead fur was epic. Rest in peace little one.
