Rabbit rabbit!
Never heard of this before…does it still work if I haven’t actually spoken to anyone else? I’ve been up for a little while…
Same here. Curious as I thought I knew all rabbit superstitions?
These 2 would never be taken for slippers cos they don’t match! But they are cute! My fav is the one on the right.
Oh, I dunno. If they’re slightly different in appearance, you can see the difference between the left and right slippers.
Good point!
I first heard of it in a Trixie Belden book. She put a sign at the end of her bed so it would be the first thing she saw when she woke up. But I thought it had to be your first *thought*, not the first thing you said.
Huh. Obvy didn’t read that TB book!
I would severely fail in this, either by thought or word. Upon waking, my first mental and verbal issuance is “I have to pee!”
Mine is “why the hell am I awake?”
Probably because you have to pee.
😂
When I followed Mike’s link, it cited the same incident. And I was wrong–it did have to be the first thing you said. She only said it twice.
Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit…… I need all the good luck I can get. These cuties would make great cuddle, snuggle buns.
As always, the bunbuns are gorgeous.
Good luck to everybody this month! How is it October already??!?!?!
Don’t you mean Tocktober?
YES! Tocktober!
I’m ready for all the tocks. Then the noses next month.
A friend of mine posts Rabbit, rabbit the first day of every month. I think she learned about it from John Irving’s Rabbit series?
