Bird photos—in the 15-17 years category there is an amazing pic of a bird silhouetted in an orange moon and it is just astounding! There is also one near the end with bird’s neck bent backwards to see behind. That is wild! And one where the bird built a nest in a traffic light!

Oh, thank you! I had skipped it and went back—you’re right, not to be missed. I wish they had identified the birds at the lek (mating dance). I *think* they are sharp-tailed grouse, judging from some other photos I found online, but I am very far from being a bird expert. The drumming sound is made by their feet!

Same here, only 65 years—but that’s since birth, and I’m a third-generation native.
Glad all NYC’s zoo animules and aquarium fishies were well-cared for and safe.
