Oliver himself described the pūteketeke campaign as “alarmingly aggressive.” And darned if it didn’t get *twenty two and a half times* the bird in second place, the kea. In all, it got about 83.9% of the total votes cast.
“This is what democracy is all about – America interfering in foreign elections.”
That line about American interference had me ROFLMAOing.

So glad the poor deer was rescued. Amazing that the hunters rescued it instead of shooting it because it wouldn’t have been fair to shoot it when it was trapped like that.
I was impressed. It was horrifying to watch the deer swing back and forth.
I can’t believe that guy ‘wrestled’ with it. Not sure what kind of hold you use on wildlife.
