It’s fun for a girl and a boy! But for a hungry squirrel trying to raid a bird feeder, not so much. (via Murray C.)

Aw, I was rooting for the sqwerl.
Me too. That “oh crap” moment on the last climb was pretty funny, nonetheless.
I prefer squirrels to birds and have never understood why people mind squirrels eating from their feeders. As long as a cute little creature is getting the food, it’s all good!
That’s hilarious😂🤣😂! One determined squirrel + one ingenious solution = video gold. Looks like the poor squirrel is bungee jumping.
Squirrel: “What in the Sam Heck is this nonsense?!”
“Okay…gotcha now you…………nope…”
“Got the feet…on the pole…here we g…………..@&$%*#”
Whoever thought of this is a genius!!👍🏼
I feel sorry for sqwerlio.
I think after a few more attempts the squirrel will succeed!
That make me so sad and I feel bad for the squirrel. In my backyard I have bird feeders that are high so the squirrels can’t access them but I also give peanuts the squirrels and the blue jays and I have blocs of swift mixes with seed that they all have access to.
Not going to lie, that’s kind of genius.
Sorry everyone – my vote? Best. anti-squirrel. device. ever!
My 150-year-old-house in west Philly has such dry wood, the squirrlios get in easily. I can hear them having squirrel derbies or chewing on my joists – not a good situation. So hanging a slinky or two, in front of the easily accessible bits? Genius!
OK, reading comments before the first cup of coffee is not healthy. I got a bit scared.
I misread joists as joints, so I was wondering whether your squirrels are high as a kite or you have some “blood squirrels” viciously attacking your ankles/knees.
This was awesome, thank you, Kar!
I wouldn’t be surprised to see that actually happen. Squirrels are tough.
