Stop making me want a pet squirrel!
I love how big dogs will let little dogs boss them around LOL!
I know! All the stories make me want a squirrel-friend so badly!
Makes sense that a giraffe would need a chiropractor.
I’ve seen newborn kittens bigger than that tiny pup. I think the big dogs are afraid to step on it.
I think so, too. It looked like the big dogs were trying not to hurt the little pup, who was just excited and wanted to play.
Without my glasses that tiny pup totally looked like a seriously ferocious kitten!
Fun fact: giraffes have the same number of neck vertebrae as humans.
The vertebrae are just really, really tall?
Love how the chiropractor was able to help, and got neck hugs as a result.
Clementine has such a sweet face.
I’ve seen plenty of stories of kittens born hours after the rest of the litter, but four days?!
Named “after the Persimmon tree, which takes many years to bear fruit”…♥
I know,
a part of me is screaming about sepsis and infection for such a long delivery so very grateful that both are healthy.
I don’t know how kitty plumbing works, but I know a mama cat can have a litter with kittens from multiple fathers. Maybe there’s something about that setup that keeps sepsis from happening? Like, she opened one juice box and waited a few days to open the other?
I dunno. I’m mostly just really glad to not have a uterus.
What an analogy! Snerk!
“She opened one juice box” LOL
I sent the giraffe story to my chiropractor.
Next time you go there, you may be waiting together with a sweet, stiff-necked giraffe!
Awesome!
I’m struck by how much that giraffe trust the doctor. Seems to how him where it hurts.
He even seems to nuzzle or bat affectionally at him.
The time I got to feed giraffes, they were very friendly and cuddly.
