The Sheldrick Trust has protected elephants for so long that former orphans once in their care bring new babies in need of help. That’s what happened in 2022, when four ex-orphans brought little Toto, only a few days old, to give him a second chance at survival. Read Toto’s story here.

That’s no little dog!
What a sweet story. β€
I (probably) can’t have a baby heffalump in my condo, so I just adopted Toto at Sheldrick’s website. What an absolute cutie!

What a dear little one! I canβt imagine how rewarding it would be to care for an elephant so young!
I love how he and the new little one have become fast friends! So glad the elephants know that is the place to go for help! Had to adopt the little one for a year!

I’m happy to report that the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. I, too, have “adopted” Toto for a year, and will consider adding the Sheldrick Trust to my annual giving list.
