The feral cat making herself comfortable and relaxing in the woman’s lap for the first time brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks for the tear alert! I’ll save this for when I’m home! Watching feral cats melt always gets me in the feels.

Batty is the sweetest kitty! Would love to cuddle her!
The little fox is very opinionated and cute! I don’t know if I would be able to handle that screaming, tho.
Chewy is the bestest brave dog!

So glad Batty is in a rescue on the other side of the country or I’d be tempted to scoop her up. Chewy taking on that big scary dino is too funny and he has some boss moves.
Had some drama at our house at 5:00. Mind you it’s still dark out but Valkyrie is running around going absolutely, hair standing on end, barking crazy. I thought somehow something got in the house. Then I look out the window. *Cue the tinkly piano music* A large silver mylar balloon landed in our yard overnight and was swaying in the wind reflecting the light from the streetlight. Shades of Steven King’s It movie!!! Hubby went out to kill the nasty thing and all was right in the world after that.
Ooh, almost forgot but over the weekend, I saw a guy at one of the trolley stops and he had his pet opposum! on his shoulder. Now I’ve seen everything on the trolley.

Kudos for Valkyrie for protecting from Pennywise’s avatar.

I know! I told her to stay away from storm drains.

Well, at least you know she’s gonna protect you!

Good on Valkyrie for alerting you to the presence of the evil ballon.

Many years ago, when I lived in Northampton, I noticed my dog Scamp sitting on the front lawn gazing up at the sky. I thought he was looking at birds and thought nothing of it, but when he hadn’t moved for ten minutes I went out to investigate. It turned out that a hot air balloon festival was in full swing and there were about fifteen of them floating over the house!

Wonder if he was enjoying the view or he thought the invasion has started, lol.
