The hoomans call this a “thermometer,” but in winter I prefer to call it the “moveameter.” Which means that I’m going to stare at it from this warm blanket and until I see that number go up, I’m not going to move a meter.

I’m with you kitty, we’ve been having warm temperatures for the last week but starting today the mercury is dipping down below freezing and I’m staying inside where it’s warm.
Same here. It was 50 degrees on New Year’s Eve (and we had a thunderstorm!) It’s 35 now; this week is supposed to mostly be highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s and teens.
I would ask if I can join kitty under his blanket.
Me three – it’s been nice today but supposed to cool off this weekend. I’ve been sleeping under my silk filled comforter and man, I’m so nice and toasty, it makes it so hard getting out of bed. I actually put puppers in their jackets this morning as it was only about 40 degrees F. They looked like walking pigs in a blanket, lol.
But hey, they were warm!
On my way to work I sometimes see a guy walking his pittie, lately the pup has been wearing PJs or jackets. It’s so cute.
We keep going from below zero to 40 degrees in a curve, sort of. We’ve had some way below “feels like” temperatures🥶. Weirdness.
I feel you, kitty. We’ve had relatively mild weather lately, but there are occasional cold snaps.
