Catarina is a lovely lady. Sometimes cats aren’t warning with hisses–they’re just talking.
It’s hard to groom your butt when there’s so much avoirdupois in the way. My lovely Josephine was a full-figured gal and I always had to take care of her tailfeathers. Once she lost some weight, everything got easier.
All of my cats have made a variation on that chirping rattle when they spot particularly exciting things like birds–but she is spot on about Catarina’s version here sounding like a possessed seagull..
