Savor that Sunbeam

That last little bit of sunbeam in the afternoon is always a bittersweet moment. When you stretch out in the morning, it’s as long as your arm, but then it gets smaller until it fits in the palm of your paw.

A dog rests on a hardwood floor with his paw touching a small patch of sunlight on the floor
Until tomorrow, my old friend.

Pretzel *loves* to bask in the sunshine! He has a special carpet to lay on, too.

Awww, sniff. Such a gorgeous dog too. My two chihuahuas are complete opposites. Valkyrie will be out sunning herself even when it’s close to 90 and meanwhile, Thor is inside trying to find a cool spot on the tiles. Sometimes I wonder about Val wih the way she acts, if she’s fried a few too many brain cells out in the sun.

Pablo used to lay between the slats of the vertical blinds to get some sun.

My two fight for the best sun beam, Storm usually wins.
