I enjoy the stylish and tactically prudent moose blindfold.
Moose better watch out…
PS, the moose came back later with her baby.
(Originally I saw the first video on FB with a funny voiceover of what the dog and moose were thinking, but I couldn’t find that version elsewhere (and can’t find it again on FB, now). I got these links from this article.)
Can’t wait to enjoy links later tonight! Really glad the moose got rescued, and his blindfold sounds cool.
We’ve got a moose story in Austria. Emil the Elch (“moose” in German) wandered down from Poland and he was hanging around on both sides of the Danube for a couple of weeks. He had a police security detail to protect him from poachers. Now he’s been tranquilized and moved to the wooded border between Germany, Czechia and Austria.
Glad he was so protected!๐๐ผ
I agree! That’s so sweet!
So he didn’t get deported back to Poland?
(sorry, had to be said and I have no self control)
Authorities are hoping he will find his way back home! I’m not sure if we’ll be getting any more updates, but I sure hope so!
Edit: Emil has made it to a national park in Czechia. He’s got a GPS tracker so I imagine we’ll get regular updates!
