Although the bat would be perfect for Halloween.

Does anyone else get a weird feeling that these photos are AI enhanced? I don’t know, but it’s just a feeling🤷‍♀️

Is that a tribble wearing sunglasses?

    • Kar October 9, 2025 / 12:13 pm

Pretty sure its a princess about to complain about the pea underneath her blannkets.

What the heck is that pink leg with the black boot in the fifth video? Or whose is it?

      • Ricky & Bibi's Mom October 9, 2025 / 12:39 pm

If the pink leg belongs to the dog, as seems likely, it may be part of a set of suspender boots. Search for “Walkee Paws” to see some examples. There are other companies selling similar items. (I tried a set on Bibi and she went on a NON-walkout strike.)

I’ve seen bandages that shade of pink, but not with the black boot on the paw. Not that I’m an expert—far from it.

I was looking for the tribble in the sock section!

Duke’s kleptomania is hilarious! And his family just goes with it.

Love the commuter dogs. And the socks. Folks, if you’re interested in any of the socks, I can probably make them. It will just take a while, as my queue is so long.

Honestly Duke reminds me of those hoarding shows.

He’s had some trauma with different re-homing and now he holds onto familiar objects for comfort. Also probably senses which objects are treasured and treated differently. Hence cuddling with the fine china, not the bathroom throw rug.

Excuse me, but these socks and Bunny Hug must be discussed.

    • debg October 9, 2025 / 10:42 am

That one looks like AI to me–I can’t imagine how they’d join a plushie bunny face to knitted socks.

      • Kar October 9, 2025 / 11:04 am

for $20 I’m tempted to buy a pair to check it out.

Do please report back if you go for it!

      • 6Rabbits October 9, 2025 / 3:58 pm

Thank you! I get the same vibe!

If you look at some of those commuter videos, some riders are going quite far with type of pet! In no carrier.
I thought the rule was they had to be in a bag or carrier?
Glad mama likes the cockatoo as well, or his attachment to dad could become a problem😁
Poor Duke! He’s had some trauma. At least he has an understanding home, now.

    • Ricky & Bibi's Mom October 10, 2025 / 8:22 am

Yes, dogs (and other pets) are supposed to be in carriers in the NYC subway and on buses, unless they are service animals, but I don’t think this rule has been enforced much lately. I see it violated regularly.

Bibi and I obey the rules. She’s a portable size, and I think it’s safer; and it is a rule, after all.

Just met Charlie Junior, and now I want a guard cockatoo! Such great people, and what a hilarious birb.
