The nannie elephants are so sweet with baby Joy!
If my job was to take care of baby heffalumps, I’m not sure I would take a day off either unless I became sick myself.
They grow full size pretty quickly. There is not a lot of time to horse around with them while they’re still little enough not to squish you.
They’re all so sweet!
Oh, how I needed this sweetness! I’m about to head to my condo’s annual owner-board-manager meeting. These are seldom uncontentious, and as we have a brand-new manager who has been sending made-up policy notifications, I am not at all looking forward to it. I may come back to look at heffalumps again afterwards.
Sending you hexes to block the evil!
Evil successfully blocked, thank you!
The meeting was far less contentious than I feared. Tiresome, yes. Horrific, not even close. New manager apologized for recent spate of non-checked, premature drafts of memos being sent, which had been upsetting various owners (myself included) unnecessarily. Altogether, folks seemed recognizably humanโnot something one can count on at these events.
In short: Yay!
That’s the best possible outcome–good!
That one guy has been working with elephants for 18 years!๐ณ๐
I love in the last video when the baby lifts up her/his head and trunk, and you can see his/her tongue come out! Unbelievably cute!๐ฅฐ
The looks on love on both faces warmed my heart.
