   I saw the birds the other day. “Spray bottle” birdie is hilarious. Not sure how clean it gets anything…

   Thankfully our cats were not interested in actually climbing the Christmas tree. Stars liked to just lay underneath (on the hand-made-by-my-Grandma cross-stitch tree skirt, of course). Stripes was more interested in playing with the ornaments occasionally but we just made sure there was nothing breakable at the bottom and it was fine.

         I was unable to find the old NTMTOM post I was referencing. It was a sphynx cat guarding a pot of chocolate coins, the St Patty’s day kind. I remember describing it as “endearingly scrotal,” a turn of phrase which caught my cutepatriots off guard.
