“Why are the gifts attacking me?”
A question I’ve often asked myself.
Kiwi chicks are simply adorable. So are the pup backpack adventures–such a great way to get adoptable dogs out there, showing the love. If I still lived in NYC, I’d be out there every day trying to meet Maxine.
Bryan deserves a Men of Cutetropolis award!! Not only advocating for shelter dogs but designing a new doggy backpack. Plus all the doggos are so adorable! I love seeing animals on the trolley, some are more well behaved than the humans, lol. Jax has stolen my heart, such a sweetie pie. So glad he’s found his forever family. And who wouldn’t be mean and defensive in a loud, scary place with you not knowing what’s going on?? In rescues, you live by the “3” rule – 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to feel safe, 3 months to trust. And sometimes it even takes up to 3 years to fully be integrated into their new home. Of course, it would be a orange cat that likes to wrapped. Now I know not to worry if my presents start moving around.
I have the next 5 days off, I’m heading to the park and museums today. Then the rest of the week, I think I’ll be hunkered down as we have a bad winter storm coming in (more time for painting!). After the park, I’ll be busy today putting all the decorations away so things either don’t blow away or get soaked. Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as the forecasters predict.
Happy Christmas Week everyone! And happy anything you celebrate – Hanakkuh, Festivus, Kwanza or the Winter Solstice.
Enjoy your time off!
I didn’t use up allof my pto this year. think that i get some of it paid and will rollover the rest unofficially.
I’m glad Jax found his humans and wasn’t thrown out on the streets again.
Jax loving on his hoomins! This cat has grown into everything he was meant to be. What a doll.
