I might actually watch the Oscars if they included animal actors in all the categories.

Woe is me, why oh why do wombats live so far away from me?

The baby wombat who looks like he got stuck mid-somersault… 🥰

        I nearly died.

Ah Georgiana I came here to say the same thing! So many wonderful wombatses this morning! Gonna be a good day.

Re the Adidas clothing for pets – I’m not so sure it’s the color that kitty is objecting too. That might be the last time that outfit gets worn 😂 Most of the others do not seem to mind their new attire.

I, too, did not realize wombats got that big. We usually only see young ones on here.

Who amongst us has not, at one time or another, wanted to go for a swim in the middle of a wedding?

      Exactly.

I’ve been to a wedding that had swimming! The ceremony was at a church but the reception was at a camp (I think it was like a day camp or something that could be rented for events) with a pool. Everyone changed into shorts and swimsuits after the ceremony. (I didn’t even know the people; when I was 14 my friend and I had spent two weeks at her grandparents’ in PA and it was a cousin or something of hers. The wedding was the last weekend of our trip so her mom and siblings came out for the wedding and drove us home after.)

Me. I have not. I don’t swim well, and honestly, it would never have occurred to me.

Drowning my __________ at the bar, however, is another matter.

Love Indy’s letter! And sweet little Prim would be mine if I were getting more cats. But I’m not.

    Well,

I failed at my second attempt as a flower girl. Got side tracked by the slide so my father had to carry me down the aisle when I refused to leave the playground.

On a hot summer (outdoor) wedding though, I can understand doggie’s motivation.

My cousin was matron of honor in her sister’s wedding, and her toddler daughter (I don’t think she was two yet; she is now in her 30s with two kids of her own…!) was flower girl. Her dad sat at the end of the second row so he could grab her quickly if needed. She made it down the aisle with no problems, but then she wanted mommy to hold her, and did not want to sit with daddy. So one of the other bridesmaids held my cousin’s flowers and my cousin held the flower girl. It was adorable.

Sorry about the less than wonderful day. I agree with everything else you said. And I’m really jealous of that little girl.
