Today Maru rests in peace, but then again he always did — he was a champion napper on his favorite beds. But now it’s time to freshen the space for Hana and Kitten Miri.

It wouldn’t be Caturday without Maru, and fortunately we have a new video compilation of some of the goofiest moments from his rambunctious younger years. Between leaping into boxes and chasing balloons, it’s easy to see why the world loved him so.

In the house, Kitten Miri stays close to the ground, but outside she loves to climb as high as she can and marvel in the brilliant autumn colors. Later, we look back as Maru enjoys the leaves from last fall.
