Yep, today’s pink day. Totally pink. Got my pink hat, got my pink frilly skirt, got my… you know, this just might be a little too much pink. I mean, I like pink as much as the next guy, but c’mon! I may need to register my displeasure by sticking out my tongue… and that’s pink too! Darnit, darnit, darnit!
From reader and submitterationist Julie H. comes Poncho! (And does he have a poncho? And if he does, is it pink? Because that would just be too faboo.)
Had to leave my first comment. I took my rescue chihuahua to a pet fair where a pet psychic was doing readings for donations to the local shelter. I made a donation, she looked at my dog, pet her, and said, “she doesn’t want to wear pink dresses.” Looks like that was some sound advice. 🙂
I have to ask, was she wearing a pink dress at the time?
No, but she had a pink collar. Guess that was ok. 🙂
Hi Alison! Nice to meet you – it’s great to see all these new folks feeling inspired to speak up.
Thank you so much! Enjoying watching the site evolve.
That is so fetch.
Yanno, if we could find a stick, I’ll bet Poncho here could make fetch happen!
Stop trying to make fetch happen; it’s never going to happen.
Right after I showed this to my dog, he pulled up in the convertible and said, “Get in loser, we’re going shopping.” Swear.
I love this place. I keep going for the upvote button on just about every other comment, only to realize there is no upvote button.
I know it’s the hat, but she looks like she has pink ponytails!
Tha it not right, poor sweetie ):( I don’t approve of dressing up pets (giggling uncontolably) Sorry, like I was saying, if it’s for protection from the cold that’s OK but not frilly stuff ( 😀 😀 😀 wiping tears of laughter) …
My Pablo would take his sweater off as soon as we were back in the house. He seemed to know he needed it outside (short-haired Chihuahua), but once inside, he’d wriggle out of that thing as soon as the leash came off.
Then he’d go find a blanket to bury himself under.
The pink tongue tip is the finishing touch to the whole ensemble. The flare on the skirt, the hearts and the pigtails! Oh man, that is a lot goin in. No clutch bag?
You are right. I need to get him a clutch bag!
Hi Julie! Poncho knows how to mix his patterns. I would go with a pink and white plaid. See I get it. I had a black cocktail dress made for my Sammi Girl, a white deer head with a long neck. It had white pearls attached round the neck. Very Audrey Hepburn Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
Yay! Love up vote, down vote.
I have a feeling the downvote button is rather pointless. 😉
Oh, give me enough time, and I’ll earn one. 😉
Not from me!
I have been rendered speechless. 🙂
She has a look that says “I’m going to get you for this!”
Okay, this has to be a weekly feature! Start sending in pix, people! On Wednesday We Wear Pink!!
Oh, that’s a great idea! Love it.
That reminds me, for Tuesdays I was thinking perhaps some version of “Two-fer Tuesday,” where we have twins, lookalikes, etc. (of course, not every day has to have a thing, but we can try them out and see what sticks).
I definitely see “impending doom” here!
Poor doggy, looks ready to retch… I bet Poncho prefers black satin and a string of pearls. 😀
Omgosh Clairdelune see my post above. I posted before I saw your post.
Hover heaven has happened!
I DO like the peenk hat, espesh the ties that look like braids, but I’d stick out my tongue at the rest of the oufit, too, Poncho!
Oops wrong response spot.
I LOVE the word Fetch. As in:
“that is a fetching outfit” or “fetch me the remote”. Its so British and I love anything British especially Henry Cavill. but I digress…
The doggie looks so cute and funny but appears to be ready to cry (and perhaps puke). There is a tear in his/her left eye.
