Not That Mike The Other Mike

This weekend brings the long-awaited release of “Of Course, Maru Is in the Box 3.” With expectations muted after the lackluster performance of “Of Course, Maru Is in the Box 2,” could this new film break the sophomore curse? Thankfully yes, thanks to an intriguing twist on the formula: instead of a box, (spoiler alert!) Maru crawls into a basket! And with this simple change, the franchise is reinvigorated.       Too, too funny. Thank you, Andrew, for keeping us apprised of the goings on at Mugumogu’s abode.

      I wonder if Maru isn’t sort of the Temple Grandin of cats and that his need to be in close fitting boxes (and now, as we see, other sorts of containers) isn’t somehow similar to her “hug machine” that she invented to relieve stress.
