Okay, home now. That was really weird..
And we are having massive storms. I shut down for the day (er, week – I’m on vacation now) a 5:20 and didn’t leave for at least half an hour because of the rain and massive bolts of lightning that were entirely too close for comfort. Was cool to watch, though. Finally left and had to pull into a parking lot for about 10 minutes halfway home to wait for more rain. Finally got home at 7 and there was more rumbling and then after a little bit it poured some more.

Wow, 1000 posts already? Time sure flies when you’re having fun! I’ve been here since the very beginning, I think, and it just doesn’t seem possible that it’s been that many posts!
And yet of those 1000 posts, I suspect I am not alone in having gotten FAR more than 1000 moments of entertainment, laughter, awws, support, head-scratching, and pure silliness! You have such a gift — thank you for listening to those of us who begged you at the end of the Old Ranch to strike out on your own! We can never thank you enough! (Although I’m sure thanks in the tip jar never go unappreciated. :D)

I was thinking the same thing. So I did a little math. If I’m not mistaken, the site started in November, so that’s approximately nine months, which gives us an average of somewhere around 3 posts a day. They sure do add up!

SHEESH. how did I miss this yesterday when it posted!! Glad I found it today, though. Heaps of ‘thank yous’ Mike for coming to the rescue when we thought for sure we would never see the likes of CO again. I’ve been here since the beginning and enjoy every time I see a message from you. I think all of us look forward to another day and more delightful comments on the posts. There are some mighty creative/crafty/cunning posters in the group.
I have to admit, I sometimes rack my brain for something to comment on, just so I can subscribe and make sure I don’t miss any good comments. (I also get an email for new posts, so I don’t even have to make a point of coming here to check. It all comes to me!)

Allein, I do the same thing, so often just use an emoji when I’m not feeling like using words. (THOSE things!)
