Maru and Hana’s Mealtime Mixup

Mugumogo decides to give Maru and Hana a snacktime challenge with a “food tree” that sends kibble bouncing down in unpredictable paths. Hana gets the hang of it right away, while Maru almost knocks it over.

Awww, Maru gets it, it’s just that he is endowed with paws that are a bit too generous to manipulate the kibble through such a small space. I think he’s trying to move the bits by tilting the tree – genius!!!

I think he was trying to get inside at one point ? I love Maru but he’s not the hunting type, he’s more the room service type.

    Kobeyashi Maru

It is not that he does not understand the challenge–it is that he understands it completely, and refuses to accept it.

Maru: “Okay, you reach the noms out and I’ll let you keep half.”

LOL, true! Maru is smart, makes Hana do the work while he cleans up half the time.

What I want to know is – where’s the box this gadget came in and has Maru climbed into it yet?

Great comments, folks! Maru looked distinctly miffed when Hana got to eat and he didn’t.

This is the enrichment toy that I’ve been looking for to keep my kitten entertained and from overeating.

Heck, I’d use it myself if it kept me from overindulging.

Reminds me of eating crabs. A lot of aggravation for a little bit of food.

      Lol!
