Hehe, at the end it looked like Maru was watching the snowflakes. ๐Ÿ™‚

The little face on the front of the Maru train reminded me of Thomas the Tank Engine.

Less like a snake and more like some kind of gastropod. A maruslug. What an odd creature.

There were a couple points where it looked like the video actually froze! And then I saw the tail.

Maru is scary good at the “cat freeze”.

Poor Maru, he really is a box addict, there is no box that he won’t try to get into even if it there is no way he can fit. I love that Hana is doing her own thing in the back, completely ignoring Maru.

I think they planned it out beforehand – in fact, while she’s creating a diversion in the background, he actually goes and gets a snack, then squeezes back into the box while we’re not looking. You have to watch it frame-by-frame to catch it ๐Ÿ˜€

    That cat is just peculiar.

You can’t really say he’s adept at thinking outside the box, either.

Major “oops”, Maru – you are truly in a bind.

EXTRA EXTRA! I SAW FLUFF ON THE FLOOR

Oh thank God. I really needed to hear that.

That makes two of us. After watching a Maru video I feel as though I’m living in a squalid medieval hut.

After proper baking time has been reached, remove cat loaf from custom made baking pan. The loaf should retain its square shape if you previously rubbed in a thick film of sesame seed oil. Let cool overnight. Mmmm fresh morning loaf ready for scritches. And butter to taste.

I wonder if he can back out of situations like that by himself or does she have to pull him out or cut him out when we’re not watching.

Also, what do you figure was up with the camera that time it turned on its side? Was she hand holding it and then set it down? That’s what I assumed, but then I expected her hand to appear and do something (to explain why she needed to set down the camera — to free up her hands) and it didn’t.

When it comes to quirky cats, Maru takes the cake. And then he eats it.
