Around 1635, an ill-fated expedition led by Norwegian explorer Belk Nordstrom becameĀ shipwrecked on an uncharted Caribbean island. The only survivors were a team of sled dogs who adapted to the island’s plentiful coconut supply, eventually learning to climb coconut trees.

Belk Nordstrom? Did he establish a retail empire there, too? What department do I find the Huskies in, anyway?
My mom used to buy “Husky” sizes for my brother in the boys’ apparel department at Sears. That was in the ’70s. Don’t know if you can still get them there.
Well, the Sears in the mall near me no longer sells clothing, so…
Desperately need some backstory here. What an adorable puppers.
You and me both! There is nothing
natural about this image. How does
this happen?!?!?!?
Huskies are climbing coconut tree and parrots play in the snow, 2016 has been a very strange year ?
Is that the Naked Survivor Guy?
Okay now I am totally blown away – first a pet porcupine and then a husky in a palm tree…
?3 French Hens.
2 Turtle Doves.
And a Huskie in a palm treeeeeee. ?
…and a fishie who likes to play!
I’m told the fiber from the outer husky of a coconut is known as coir.
Is this why some pirates are called ‘coirs-hairs’?
Good one! š
“Belk Nordstrom” made me crack up laughing this morning. Thank you!
