That is a nice bold, accent color, that goes well with Madame Bunny’s fur coat. But I’m afraid unless it’s smear proof, it could get messy.
On a sad note, our daughter’s very special bunneh, Sir Lancelot ( who has been featured on this website & CO), passed away Friday morning. He battled the digestive problems so many buns can get. She and the vet worked hard to get him better. Our daughter is very, very sad and I am too. I’ve bunny sat him many times and every time she visits, she has brought the bunny boys.
My condolences with you and your family on the passing of Sir Lancelot. I am sure your daughter was the very best of bunny moms.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Please express my condolences to your daughter. ๐
I feel for you all. Very sad.
So very sorry for your family’s loss. Hugs to you all.
Oh, my heart aches for you and your daughter – I’ve lost a lot of buns over the years and it’s especially hard when they’ve suffered.
Truly sorry to hear about Sir L. Always a painful time for us animal lovers. Hugs to your daughter and to you Luv Bunny.
๐
? {{{hugs}}} to you all.
I’m so sorry.
Oh dear – I’m so sorry to hear about Sir Lancelot. My condolences to you and your family.
“If I’m not supposed to eat it, then why does it taste so good?”
A friend of mine set the notification sound for my text messages to a clip from a computer game: “If I’m not supposed to pet him, then why is he so fluffy?” It’s basically my motto.
Lovely choice. Adorable application. But I suspect this particular product doesn’t wear well.
Personally I would be happy to kiss that away for sweet bunny. Do bunnies do lippy kisses?
Ani sometimes sniffs my nose and lips in what I call a “bunny kiss.”
Sounds apt!
So sweet!
Should I admit how long it took me to get the title…? ๐
Bunny’s beautiful lipstick makes me feel a little better.
I spent 3 hours in the emergency room last night after a kitchen-related accident involving my immersion blender. Pro tip–unplug it before you try to clean out the blade end of the stick. The tip of my left index finger got hamburgered. No knitting for a little while and I must train myself to type one-handed.
This sounds terrible ๐ I wish you speedy recovery and painkillers of fast effect!
NO! You of all people, DEBG! I always remove the blade from the handle before cleaning, definitely good practice. But accidents can and do happen. I hope all heals up soon! I know about the one handed typing since I did that when I first had my shoulder surgery – you can get pretty good at it.
Oh no! But I guess it could have been a lot worse. I’m terrified of that little blade. Very sharp.
So sorry to hear about your injury, DebG. How painful and scary. Take good care of that finger so you are back to knitting soon!
Oh no Debg! Ouch and probably really scary; uggh that bites.
Voice recognition software, DebG! Dictate your comments! Plus, you’ll feel like Agent Cooper talking to Diane. Anyone else looking forward to the Twin Peaks reboot??!
Yay for Twin Peaks reboot!
Oh, no! I had similar instance with a food slicer on my right thumb one Thanksgiving. So scary! I hope your left is not your dominant hand? Take care!
So sorry to hear you’ve been hurt! Hope you’re back to using two hands as soon as possible.
Thanks for the sympathy, everyone. It turns out, voice recog software doesn’t know words like dyebath, but it does know Merino! Since I’m a righty, I’ll be able to manage but productivity is going to plummet.
Yikes! I hope you feel better soon, DebG.
I did something similar when I was just a sprout – tried to clean out a pencil sharpener with my finger – but at least it was a manual one!
When I was just short of two? my brother was playing with his chain-drive tricycle – upside down, spinning the pedals, watching the wheel spin and I, being a curious child stuck my finger in the chain and then it went through the gear sprocket. I bear the scars today in the form of a very short middle finger with a nail that grows in about 3 pieces! Not so propitious a start, nest-ce pas?
Deb G, I was still cringing over your accident during supper prep. I was slicing carrots, and at one point I paused to actually look at what I was doing. My next slice would have added finger tip to my sauce. I am in debt to you. Remembering your accident saved me from mine.
Finger tips in sauce really only work for cannibals!
Love how the bunny’s front feet are not touching the ground. Just want to squinch them to my cheek.
Oops! Had to go watch again–too focused on bunneh leeps and tongue I was!?
Thanks fellow cutetropolis readers, for your words of comfort on the passing if a very, dear bunneh. I will pass this on to our daughter. Sir Lancelot will live forever in our hearts.
Dear Luv Bunny: While sites like this provide humor and diversion, I’ve found it’s the sympathetic understanding of like-minded people that mean the most. Years ago, I had to decide to put a senior kitty to sleep, I related the process on a web site I was following (Stuff on my Cat). The support received was sincere and so comforting I knew the other pet owners had been through the same distress and understood my heartbreak. And so, we understand what you and your daughter are suffering. It is the last and perhaps the best thing we do for our furry friends. Surely there is a rainbow bridge.

What Ms Can said. We come here for the laughs, but we stay for the sympathy and support.
