Passenger Pigeons

“Man, what a week. Steve has the flu, so all his accounts got dumped on me, plus the boss is in my office every ten minutes about the Bloofman merger. I’m telling ya, if I didn’t get out of the office once and a while to poop on people, I’d go nuts.”

“Same here. So you want to hit the park around three?”

It’s the little things in life that matter, Sharon H. (According to source on Imgur, this was taken on a BART train in the San Francisco Bay Area.)

I commuted by train to Philly for a whole year, and not once did I have any cute animal passengers ride with me. It’s not fair!!

I like how the guys in front of them seem completely oblivious to their presences.

A source for this image on Imgur says it’s BART in the SF Bay Area. I just updated the post with a link.

      No!

I have one of those foam finger things, except it’s the pigeon saying

“get out of the office once and a while” Is this a very rare typo from one of the best writers ever, or is “once and a while” an alternate form of “once in a while” and I never knew?

One of my pet peeves is when people write “try and help” for “try to help” (especially in formal contexts like journalism), but at least I’m used to that intrusive “and.” This one is new to me.
