Reader Catlander writes: “This little cat lives in the barn at the animal sanctuary where I volunteer. They thought she would help with the squirrel problem.”
Sweet little Piglet!
The laundry basket photos are incredible. Kitty is lucky. So are all the kitties who stole doggie beds–hilarious pix.
Well, if the problem the animal sanctuary was having had to do with squirrels going hungry, I would say Phasma definitely is on track to handle the issue! Such a generous kitty!
?
My theory is that the staff told Phasma to “take care of the squirrels,” and being the sweet kitty she is, that’s what she’s doing. Good girl, Phasma. BTW, if you live in Southern Oregon or Northern California, you can adopt her–or a dog or a peeg or a bunny or an alpaca or a horse or goat or sheep, etc.! ?www.sanctuaryone.org
A Dachshund Chihuahua mix? Would you call that a Chi-wiener?
I saw some such pups a while back, but none of them where that pink.
Chiweenie!
That combo can either be insanely cute or go horribly (but still cutely) wrong. I’ve seen some odd-looking chiweenies.
Millie is a Chiweenie!! Went well!!
The pink puppy! *ded*
This is my favorite “Links” post of all time!!! One meeeeeellion up-votes from me!
p.s. I’d love to see how Maru would react to the laundry basket.
Pink was never my favourite colour, but a pink puppy? WANT‼️
Jackson Galaxy needs to add mesh laundry baskets to his repertoire! Who knew??
There’s actually a book called “Little Pink Pup” about a piglet being raised by a dachshund mom! This little pup should be a companion book!
Yep! That’s them?
Shouldn’t that be “On Wednesdays, we are pink”?
Yay!
When I was in high school, my brother and his friends found a tiny black kitten (not more than a couple months old) as they were leaving 4th of July fireworks (how they saw him in the dark and traffic I have no idea). He made himself right at home in the middle of the dog’s bed. She was terrified.
(My brother named the kitten Roadkill, but my dad wouldn’t let us keep him. We had him for a couple weeks until someone my brother worked with adopted him. I assume she changed his name.)
My cats LUUUURVE those collapsible laundry baskets. Unfortunately, they also shred the mesh, so I do have to replace them periodically.
‘Piglet’ is a rock star – I think he’s even cuter as an adult doggie! Love the part in the video where he’s running with the giant spoon.
My neighbor’s pit bull puppy is pink too – well, his coat is a lovely pastel gray, and then you can see his skin glowing through. He’s the sweetest dog – super affectionate and goofy.
That turtle with the fiberglass shell is obviously doing well! I’m glad it’s increased visibility hasn’t caused him any problems.
And the kitty sharing the bowl with the squirrel reminds me of when a pet hamster got loose years ago, and I would find it sharing the food bowl with the cat, too. It was very cute, too!
Oh Piglet is SO adorable. Dangerously adorable. I hope his Doggeh parents emphasize how much work it is to take care of a special needs furbaby.
But gosh is he cute. He looks like a handful. 😉
