If you’ve just joined us, this is a fantastic matchup so far, and at the moment the Marmie Mauler has her opponent, Bruiser Blackie, in a devastating headlock…

This isn’t wrestling. The black kitten is one of us, feeling down. The marmie one is Cutetropolis, doing everything possible to make the sad one feel better.
I like that interpretation too!
And I need those hugs right now. Grampa has pneumonia again.
Hugs sent away to Duckie, pronto!
I’m sorry. Pneumonia is worrisome in the elderly. Maybe that explains his falling the other day. But he’s being cared for.
Big hug from the Cutetropolis Marmies! (and Felix is sending loud purrs)
I’ll heap on my share of hugs, too, Duckie. Bless his heart – and all of you who are looking after and worrying about him.
Oh, yes, I like your take on it, Duckie. (Although the wrestling commentary is pretty funny.)
It might be an interesting way to think of real wrestling – one guy is just feeling down and the other one is comforting him…….. Nah.
I’m not a fan of wresting, boxing, etc., but I would by a ticket for a ring-side seat to this one!
I love me some Kitty wrestling, they perfect moves as they get older, like my two, back paw neck block….or something. Hope my photo link works.
It worked and it’s terrific. I would buy a ticket to that match
Your Tuxedo has a very good roundhouse kick.
It’s mother and son, she always wins, which is how it should be, they play all the time 😉
Oh, I also liked the picture of the Gibson guitar – is that yours? It’s a beaut.
Sadly not, but my friend lets me “play” it whenever i want, he has a lot of nice guitars!
Judging by the carnage on the ground, this is already going extra rounds.
BTW, I volunteer to referee.
You know that means getting down on the floor with them, don’t you, Kar?
I’m down, literally, with cute playful kittens.
Jealous.
There’s a grey one off to the left!
Is it just me or does the black one seem a bit…plump? :3
Yes, it’s a BIG CURVED BELLEH!!! One of my favorite things. (See also: Shetland ponies.)
Yes, Bruiser Blackie is a plus size kitten!
“plus size kitten” LOL
Heroic wrestler kitty is not plump, she’s “stout”.
Love her expression by the way, she’s like “are you even trying?”
She’s not fat, she’s fluffy!
No, no. She’s Junoesque!
Ahem.
😀
I think I’ll say that from now on – if I’m feeling fat I’ll just say “No, I’m fluffy”.
Full disclosure, I stole that from the comedian Gabriel Iglesias.
Rubenesque.
I was just about to say the same!?
Kitten wrestling! My life right now. I still have the kittens. They are still adorable. One of them (which my husband is attached to) is a hair puller. I have long hair, and her favorite thing to do is get on the back of my desk chair and grab a mouthful of hair, near the scalp, and pull really hard. She also likes to knock things off the table. There is a ceiling fan over the bed, with a crocheted light bulb attached to the light string (installed after the husband tried to turn the fan on in the middle of the night, and pulled the light instead). They have learned to jump up, grab the light bulb, and turn the light on.
Patty, I want pix and video of all these things. PS that sounds heavenly–having scampy kittens in the house. It’s been a while for me.
I totally agree, it would be fun to see how much the Tiny Tabby Team has grown!
Agreed.
Oh, the mew-manity! I can hardly watch!
LOL!
Tiny folding chair! HA!
I’m ready!
(Okay, it’s not a tiny folding chair, but it is a Scottish Fold with a tiny chair, and that’s close enough.)
Oh, Allein, you’re the best. (if I sat on it I bet I could get it to fold)
I did find some actual tiny folding chairs (for dollhouses and such), but they weren’t nearly as cute.
😀 😀 😀 LOVE them Folds, with or without a chair!! With that little scrunched-up face and the large, round furry paw, what’s not to love??
Anybody here watched GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) yet on Netflix? Intermittent really good fun– it is a comedy, dramady set in the 80’s about the real Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, true thing. The character of ‘She-Wolf’ steals every scene she is in– found out she plays Ophelia in the off Broadway production with Oscar Issac — nyt review quote ” (embodied with heartbreaking incomprehension by Gayle Rankin, in a breakout performance). The lead Alison Brie, (Pete Campbell’s wife on Mad Men– yes, she stole every scene) character is astoundingly, perfectly annoying but I kept watching, and it is ok as her character becomes much less annoying.
Anyway, I guess my point is– instead of Hallmark Channel and my Ms Murphy cat book mysteries, there are good alternatives for escapism and I recommend it as purely such.
Ps: Hang in there Duckie, Ricky’s Mom, Birdcage, heck, everyone else– I have also been physically and emotionally slogging through these past two weeks. We.can.do.it.
