    Flutterby!
Staring at those crossed eyes for too long is giving me a headache…

I so want to kiss that pupper’s nose, but it might scare off the butterfly!

That is a gorgeous color on the butterfly.

The contrast with pupper is lovely, too.

Wish I had my phone with me last night .. Kids at the door for candy had a little husky pup with them .. of course mine knew it, and had to say hi ..

Two noses booping each other .. (I think they where scheming how to swipe all that candy with the hummies aren’t looking)

Haha! I usually stay out later on Halloween but I was tired and my foot hurt and I just wanted to curl up on the couch. I saw a couple packs of kids as I was pulling in but it looked like they already got my building and were heading away. Got two boys a little after 7:30. I had bought a bag of Peppermint Patties for my candy can at work but I decided to wait until today to bring them in just in case any little ghouls came knocking.

Work? What’s that? Oh, is that why I’m sitting at this desk? Huh.

We’ve had an influx of families with young kids in our neighborhood this past year, so my hubs had gotten the usual small bag of candy (since every other year since we’ve lived here I’ve ended up eating it all), and by the time our older neighbor boy from across the street came by, it was too late. 🙁

We had only three families come so we have a bit of candy left – but I got Snickers and Milky Way and Three Musketeers and peanut butter M&M’s – we’re good.?

One adorable little beaner was dressed in the MOST amazing chicken costume – big fluff ball of feathers with a cap with a red comb, felt leggings with big ol’ chicken feet attached.

With apologies to Mike and all Cutetropolitans:
When I read “when we sniff out all the cutest and most boopable”, I realized that, although it was meant to modify noses, when taken in context with the concept of ‘Tocktober’, it seemed to mean that, during last month’s cute, we sniffed out all the cutest and most boopable TOCKS.
The mental picture was just too funny!

I’ve never heard of booping tocks…
      I guess it’s possible. I’d be careful, though…

When our cat rings the bells that are attached to the doorknob, indicating her desire for egress, and we then open said door and she balks, we give her “anterior persuasion” which involves a sort of deftly applied “boop to the ‘tocks” motion.

Isn’t there a vaccine for that? (i.e., “Booping ‘Tocks)
