“Bambi! You old spindly-legged so-and-so! Great to see you again! How long has it been? How’s the family? Ooh, sorry — bad question, forget I asked that.”
From my pal Julie!

Iād love to look out my window and see a bunneh and bambi playing around, my day would immediately be better. At my former house, we saw deer and bunnehs but not together like these two.
And after Bambi and Thumper’s reunion we have The Fox and the Hound reunion (so OK it’s not a hound)
That was WONDERFUL! The fox really wanted to play. I wonder why the dog wasn’t interested.
I wonder if the pooch is just “above that sort of thing” being a dog of a more mature nature. He certainly wasn’t bothered by the fox. Dear little fox, so longing for a playmate.
I know! Showing the dog its belly as proof of peaceful play intent! It does look like the dog might have been feeling its age.
I never heard a fox scream before!
“Please come back!”
Wow, that interaction was unbelievable. And that scream was not what I thought a fox would sound like!; it actually sounded a little like the famous Hollywood sound effect, the “Wilhelm” scream:

Wow, I LOVE this! I had no idea that a scream would be used over and over and that they’d give it a name – is that they guy who vocalized it? Why don’t the actors do their own screams? Is there a female version of this? SO many questions!
Thanks I love Hollywood insider history stuff.
Omheavens yes D B and Allein! I read about this a few years back: http://mentalfloss.com/article/60236/where-did-wilhelm-scream-come-and-why-do-so-many-filmmakers-use-it
Sheb Wooley is the actual Wilhelm screamer? I didn’t know that – cool!
Never knew of the Wilhelm scream. Fox sounds exactly like it.
Female version: Wilhelmina Scream?
Sounds good to me! Sheb Wooley? I so love that. I hate to admit it, but I could sing you the whole of “Purple People Eater” – aren’t you glad we’re online and not in person? “A-well, I saw the thing comin’ outta the sky, It had one long horn and – GHRA-A-ACCCCK! (not the Wilhelm scream so much as the Rapidly Deployed Hook).
I’m in love with these critters. Also had no idea that deer would wag their tails just like dogs!
