The unleavened bread known as matzah is an important food in the Jewish tradition of Passover, so YouTuber zwoonkay gave one to her cat Rosh to help get her in the holiday spirit. After a valiant effort, however, Rosh gave it a pass.

Good try Rosh! Maybe she would like gefilte fish better? Or if the matzah was softened by some cream cheese?
If this stuff didnt come with some cheese, I would give it a pass(over) too!?
My mom made a candy thing that was (IIRC) melted sugar and butter poured over crackers and allowed to harden, then covered in melted chocolate. Tastes kind of like a Skor bar. The recipe calls for saltines, but my mom us matzoh (it just needs to be a relatively flavorless cracker to give the sugar/butter mixture something to stick to). It is yummy. But as for plain matzoh, well, I’m with Rosh.
My mom made that, too. I never cared for it, but I think it probably would be better with matzoh.
I’m guessing Rosh’s last name is Hoshana?
I was thinking that myself and I’m not even Jewish.
It would be better if there was some nice chopped liver on it.
Or some catnip
Not even a shmere of sweet butter? I’ll pass too. Lol.
I realize my timing is quite off on risen bread etc, but I discovered today a bagel shop that does bang on wood fired Montreal style just minutes from my home!! GAH! The caraway ACTUALLY is caraway! Oh my goodness, I thankfully had cream cheese on hand but will pick up some smoked salmon next weekend to go with them. So. good.
