(All right, you’ve got this. You’re the sheepdog, and those are the sheep — docile, afraid, just waiting for a leader to step in and herd them where they need to go. And that leader is you. This is your moment. Now show those sheep who’s boss!)

This’ll show him – been a while since this was going around….

I’ve never seen that one! Thank you for posting! π
I seem to remember that one starting a controversy at the Old Ranch because of the song about hunting rabbit for pie. Or maybe it was somewhere else.
It’s a very old song sung by two English comedians – and it’s on the side of the rabbit!
“Run Rabbit Run” sung by Flanagan and Allen – probably best remembered as the theme song of the endlessly repeated BBC comedy show “Dad’s Army”, which I can remember watching when it was new.
*feels old*
I was already familiar with Flanagan and Allen and when I heard the song I bought the whole album. I haven’t seen “Dad’s Army” – not sure it’s been aired in the states.
This is genuinely hilarious. Now, he does have them following him. It’s just that he has to keep well in front of them because I’m not sure their intentions are entirely peaceful.
It’s the Pied Pupper!
?
I was thinking maybe they think he’s a little lamb.
That’s what I was thinking, he’s not herding them, he’s leading them LOL!!
From Youtube “Nelson the ‘part’ Norfolk terrier gets a sheep ‘hurry up'”
There’s the problem right there. Terriers don’t herd, they play chase!
Whereβs a Border Collie when you need one?!
I agree. Nelson is small, white and fluffy but those sheep look sort of mean. Can sheep be mean?
Sheep – terrible when roused.
Baa – ram – ewe!! (desperately) BAA – RAM – EWE!!
Holy Sheep .. RUN PUP .. RUN FOR FOR YOUR FLEAS err fleece !
Yeah, I don’t think either party has a grasp of the rules here. More like ‘randomly running around because it’s a nice day.’ π

He wants to be chased. That is totally “Come! Chase me! Let’s play!” body language. I’ve seen it in many a small dog. He’s delighted the sheep are willing to play.
Great avatar, Pouncer!
