Since we’re celebrating cat birthdays today, let’s go to a party for Simon’s Cat, the feline phenomenon who celebrated ten years on YouTube this month. Well-wishers showed up both in person and on video to thank Simon Tofield and his animators for a delightful decade of fun. (Nice find, Lois M.)

    If you’d like to get the new Simon cat updates, just go to YouTube and Subscribe but don’t forget to also click on the little bell so you’ll get it in your in-box. I’m getting to really feel old as there are now several YouTube links I’ve watched since their beginning that are starting to celebrate anniversaries of 10 years or longer. If it has something to do with cats, I’ve probably been watching since their inception.

    As I watched the video I thought, Maru should be one of them congratulating the Simon’s cat people. From a cat who loves cardboard to a cat that is drawn on cardboard.
