Just hope that kitty doesn’t get any ideas that being in with the laundry looks like fun.

Back in time, when we had our first washing machine, my mother, my brother and myself did the same thing. We stayed silently seated in front of the window during the whole cycle, totally entranced!

Well, not much has changed, washing machine’s cycles are still more entertaining than 98% of today’s TV fare… 😀

Stripes is working behind the scenes…

So young, and already a director?? That explains her comfy office, certainly comfier than mine… I don’t have any blankets on the floor for taking a nap. Hmmm, maybe THAT is what I need!

Well, he’s 12, so in human years, according to the first result google gave me when I searched for “human years to cat years” (side note: I only typed “human yea” and autofill did the rest) he’s about 65. So he’s about ready to retire, I think.

He’s also right next to the sewing machine, which is under the side window, so he’s got Cat TV right there. Though my mom took the bird feeder out of the bushes next to the house so the quality of programming has taken a bit of a dip. (Just like real TV.)

Willing to bet I am not the only one here watching #MPRraccoon unfold on twitter. Hoping for a happy ending.

I saw that on FB. I hope the poor critter ends up, not down.

Apparently, it climbed back *up* to the roof, no word on if it got captured once it got there. I’m kind of hoping it did, if only so they can catch & release it somewhere a bit easier for it to live in.

When he got to the roof, a live trap had been set up and he/she was caught and taken to some private property southwest of the metro area. I can’t believe the legs this story had!
