We see them everywhere: Lounging in doorways, perched on filing cabinets, even relaxing on our desks. But what are they really like? Tonight on Nature’s Most Mysterious Animals, our team goes undercover to meet the office cats of Accounts Receivable, learning their intricate hierarchy, experiencing firsthand their love of head scritchies, and their insatiable need for the substance they call “kibble.”
I’ll pass on the kibble, Sharon H.
This picture is so weird. ????
Um…
Just to get this on the record, I’m not entirely sure that this picture hasn’t been digitally altered to add the mask. I can’t find any copies of this photo without the mask, but that may only mean it was added before the photo was posted online.
Hi Mike! I was looking for you on open thread– how is Ani and Shorty these days?
Ani is doing very well. She’s shedding a lot, and I have to comb her every week to pull out loose tufts of hair. There’s no end to it.
Shorty is more friendly with my neighbor than me, except for a short time recently when the neighbor went on an extended trip and I fed him — then he couldn’t stop loving on me. 😀
Good to read, life is as it should be. 🙂
Doesn’t matter. Your commentary is what makes this and the “lamb” post great!
Our Weekend Mornings Radio Show on CBC has a feline staffer known as “Greg from Accounting” – she contributes a comment now and then. Glad to know there are other Accounts Receivable cats.
Which cbc program is that? Which region?
Weekend Mornings, CBC Radio 1 in the Atlantic Region, program is based in Halifax. Extremely high in the ratings here. They used to have a “Studio Stallion” named Duke, but he has retired.
Oh good to know, I may stream it. Thanks!
Undercover Cat Boss?
