Looming large in Greek mythology is Cerberus, the three-headed dog who guards the entrance to Hades. What is less well-known is that Cerberus was just one of a litter of three-headed dogs that also included Dorculus, who guards the Creek of the Danged.

In the third Metal Gear Solid game (it’s sneaky shooty stealth action, for those unaware) there’s an enemy character called The Sorrow. You’re transported to a mysterious river, filled with shades of the people you killed throughout the game, from the major villains to the random mooks. If you manage to get to that point without killing anyone, The Sorrow isn’t sure what to do with you and just kinda shrugs.
Now I’m imagining NTMTOMified dog versions of all the MGS villains.
The River Sticks?
Winnah!
You win the Internets again, Allein!
Ahhh! ๐
I come late to this party.
This is my Favorite Mike Entry.
This is my Favorite Allein Snap Back.
I live in The Villa Of Reduced Circumstances. I have a feeling I will end up traveling The River of Sticks right to the Creek Of The Danged on the way to the Entrance To Heck.
Ha!
Aw, I’m blushing.
I guess the dog has panoramic vision.
What happens when he sees three different styx?
I didn’t realize the hounds of hell enjoyed a quick dip in the river.
It’s hard out there for a hound of hell.
