Maru Wigs Out

Today Maru assumes the guise of Oni, an ancient Japanese demon with horns and wild red hair. The Oni is not a welcome spirit, and it is customary to toss roasted soybeans to drive them out of homes. Perhaps Maru has adopted this form in order to score a quick snack, but alas no soybeans come his way, and finally the pressure of being evil causes him to flip his lid.

If you download this image, you might be able to use it to replace your current avatar.

Update: If you are using Gravatar, you don’t even need to download the image — just right-click and select “Copy Image URL.”

On the Gravatar website, select “My Gravatars” -> “Add New Image” and select “From URL” then paste the URL of the image. Crop the image as you like and you’re done.

Thank you very much Mike but this is WAY over my head. I can’t find any of the things/commands you mention. Please don’t trouble yourself any further trying to help. I will not be able to understand or do the things you suggest.

That’s ok, I understand. I decided to update my avatar, so you soon may be able to see what Oni Maru looks like as an icon. (Spoiler: it’s mostly wig.)

Oh I think it’s wonderful as an avatar. I got my Maru avatar with the crab shell on his head somehow from Google years ago. I don’t know how it happened. It seemed that Google just bestowed it on me.

Mugumogu’s creativity always amazes me. She thinks up enrichment activities not just for Maru&Hana, but for their audience.
