I never saw an episode of Game of Thrones, not interested, but I loved Game of Bones.

I never saw Game of Thrones either but I found Game of Bones very charming. Somebody put an awful lot of work into that video.

I have never had an interest in G of T either (now G & T is a whole other thing). Sometimes I wish could have gotten into it but on the other hand, do we all need to be part of pop culture? Still, I feel left out when 9.5 out of 10 people are talking about it.
Anyway! I love The Game of Bones!! 😆

I watched the 2 or 3 episode of G of T but it wasn’t to my taste. Now Game of Bones I would watch, especially since we Canucks are the bad guys, not the way we are usually portrayed, makes a change to being the nice guys of the world. LOL!

    Weiner is coming!

I don’t watch GOT, either. Don’t even have HBO. But this, I’d watch.

I was suddenly hungry for a hot dog and an icy drink. Go figure.

I can happily recommend Game of Thrones. If you like movies like Lord of Rings, you’ll like Game of Thrones. Don’t watch it cause it’s popular. Watch it because it is genuinely a great show. Game of Bones, on the hand, watch it because it is just adorable.

I second Jendeyan, though I’ve missed the last few seasons. The first season is especially wonderful.

Crusoe is a dog of many talents.

I don’t dispute the Game of Thrones is a good show but please don’t say if you love Lord of the Rings you will love G of T. because except for the fact that both are in the fantasy genre they have very little in common. G of T is full of graphic violence, rape and casual cruelty, in LOTR you have epic battles but very little graphic violence.

I can’t argue with you in the graphic violence category. LotR is more high fantasy and GoT is dark, gritty and more realistic. It doesn’t pull its punching in portraying what its medieval-based world would be like. And yes, it’s an HBO show so they throw some nudity in just because they can.

I would argue that against them having little in common. They are both well-written, have engaging plots, mind-blowing visuals and special effects and characters that you will both love and hate. They both are shows that will get you emotionally invested in the characters and outcomes of the various plots.

I couldn’t get into either the books or the TV adaptation, but that was fun. Although the dragon wasn’t very nice for a Canadian!
