Not That Mike The Other Mike

Maru and Hana enjoy a relaxing afternoon in their favorite boxes. But unbeknownst to them, a third party is about to intrude on their domestic bliss: Maru’s enormous tail, a malevolent creature with a mind of its own. Determined to ruin their fun, the evil appendage whaps Hana in the face repeatedly, but Hana is too bored to care.

    Maru looked like he had whipped cream on his head at the beginning.

    I love how prim little Hana keeps her tail tucked neatly inside the box.

    I have been wondering for ages and never brought it up: why does Maru constantly
    wave his tail? Is he perpetually peeved? Does he feel the room he’s in needs
    ventilation? Is he imagining flies? What?

      I’ve always assumed the tail has a mind of its own. Kinda like that movie with the kid whose hand gets possessed…except the tail isn’t murdering people (I hope…I guess we don’t really know what’s happening off camera…).

    I love Maru’s fluffilicious face when he’s all smushed in the box. And, that tail! 😂I guess Hana is so used to his antics that nothing fazes her. Not even getting smacked in the face. And, Happy Birthday marvelous Maru!! 😻🎉🎊🎁

    Hana is a very calm girl.
