Liquid Maru

Unique among mammals, cats can exist in either a solid or liquid state, but little is known about how they manage this remarkable transition. At the Maru Testing Labs, Maru himself demonstrates the process, which begins by climbing into a container and abandoning all dignity.

In this advanced demonstration, Maru shows that cats can be in two states at once, by using an inversion process to keep the tail away from the area of liquefaction.

I found the demonstration of the free-ranging solid tail most instructive.

Love the clump of skin/fur that refused to melt. Thank you for such extensive research, Andrew Y.

…and Maru’s ear twitching when she touches his cheek fur XD
