This Little Peegy Went to Market

“No, dear, we’re not getting carrots, we already have carrots at the house. No, you can’t have a box of Sugar-Blasted Peeg Puffs. (I swear, you have to watch these kids every second or they’ll sneak things into the cart when you’re not looking.)”

What kind of parent lets their kid run around the grocery store nekkid? I mean, really.

I dunno; I think I prefer that to the endless number of Spider-man, Batman, Disney Princess, tutu, and pajama-clad kids I see at supermarkets and on the way to and from school these days. At least nekkid is authentic.

*Kids these days, mumble-grumble, snort, grr, blah-blah-blah* *shuffles off waving cane*

Shopping goes faster if you push the cart.

they always sound like video games to me! in other news, a neigborhood farmer has just added about 8 piglets to his tiny lot next to my doctor ‘s office. I saw said farmer feeding said piglets today, with his faithful ginger cat assisting. sometimes I wonder if I’m living in an alternate reality!

Maybe a skinny peeg would assuage my longing for a wombat. The babies look remarkably similar in the wrinkle department.

I wonder if one of these would bother me…

It’s a good question. My understanding is that allergies to furry critters are usually allergies to their dander, urine, sweat, and/or something in their saliva, rather than to the fur itself. It can also be to dust or mold that get trapped in fur. With birds, it’s often to mites that live in their feathers, or dust in their droppings.

Allergies are difficult to predict. I have not been allergic to either of my dogs, but I was allergic to my cats. Yet I’m not at all allergic to my brother’s cat, nor did I have any allergy symptoms to my cousin’s cats (three of them!) recently. You never know till you try, I guessโ€”but in your case I wonder if trying might be risky.

I will wait until my pet store gets some in. Then I will snorgle (can you snorgle without fur?) and see what happens. If I’m good, I will check the SPCA.

Urban Dictionary says “To snorgle is to to snuggle a cute item in an manner meant to drink in or experience its overwhelming cuteness.” Apparently, fur is NOT required. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
