The camouflage cat (felis invisibilis) has the ability to adapt to the colors of its environment so that it cannot be seen. Remarkably, the breed does not change colors; rather, it subtly influences its owner to purchase clothes and furnishings in matching shades.
What cat, Sharon H.?
I see a very fuzzy pillow…no cat, though.
Those pillows have cat ears, anyway, so the disguise is even more efficient.
I think someone felted the cat to the pillow.
All my furnishings match my cats. Obviously my motley crew are all this special chameleon breed.
That’s a cute little Blue Persian!! I know since I showed some when I was raising/showing Persians. I know some people call them ‘grey’ but, technically, they’re blue. My wearing apparel also was dependent on what color I was showing!!
Actually, based on your description, the camouflage cat has the ability to adapt the colors of its environment to itself (not the other way around), which is more remarkable.
madly thumbs worn copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them Can’t find reference. Felis invisibilis must be part of the muggle world!
Umm…Tara? It’s invisible. That’s why you can’t find it.

That’s a syntax called Markdown, and I just found and flipped the switch to enable it yesterday. I was going to make an announcement, so thanks for noticing!
The human really needs to match the furnishings to the socks. I want to see a pink kitten!
