Ugh. Don’t read the comments on the parrot article. “He must have learned it from somewhere! There’s probably a woman tied up in the basement!” (Never mind that it’s Florida and most areas don’t have basements.) Like, from the owner when he taught it to him as a kid to annoy his parents, as is stated in the article? “He must have heard a woman screaming to be able to repeat it like that!” He could have picked it up from the TV. Maybe the guy likes Law & Order. People are stupid. Sorry, I’m cranky today.
I know I’ve seen Taco and his kitten at least twice before. Not that I mind reruns.
My favorite thing about Fat Fred and his sign is “but we do have smaller models available.” 😛

I loved that line too from Fat Fred about smaller models along with he likes to sit on small children and no the diet isn’t working well. I thought we had seen the story about Taco & Tequila before but it’s so sweet they could rerun it once a month and I’d still get all teary eyed. Can’t believe she held out bringing kitty inside until it was raining, he would have been inside as soon as he allowed me to pick him up or lured him in with treats.
The life with dog illustrations are just the best, reminded me so much of the good times I had with our little Dobby.

I’ve seen the life with dog pictures before, too (don’t know if it was here, though). Makes me want a little doggie even more.

Possibly the parrot is speaking for the dog who wants to be let out?
I have a girlfriend who lives with an African Grey parrot in a condo apartment here in Canada. One of her condo neighbours called 911 when the parrot started to do a perfect imitation of the smoke detector going off. My friend got a $500 fine when the emergency response people attended to the scene and determined that it was a false alarm.

That’s unfortunate AND hilarious!

I’ve heard of a parrot that would imitate the tap running. Which in turn would bring the owner running. Then the parrot would LAUGH!

Parrots can be jerks and it doesn’t matter their size. I used to have a small Senegal parrot (weighing in at about 4 oz.) that could mimic the microwave, the phone, etc. Best one was she could duplicate the beep beeps from the old Nextel phone paging function and would get my hubby up from a sound sleep thinking someone was trying to get in touch with him.Too damn smart for her own good.

It’s nice to know cats have some competition in the a-hole department!

Love that snuggly wombat so much.
I want to snuggle with a baby wombat!
Does that guy have wombatnip on his socks? 😁
Fun set of links!
Wombat.
Is it just my imagination, or are there some SERIOUS tan lines on wombat man’s foot?
For when you are too attached to your banana to leave it tapped to a wall when you go out!
🤣
Murkle tx for that 😂🤣 banana sling bike accessory!!
Um…I didn’t think that’s what they meant by “banana hammock”…
You guys!! 🤣😂😆😄😆😺
