Links: And So It Begins

Goats take over, kitten brothers, cat shapes, and a pug named Milkshake, in today’s links.

And finally: Bear Road Crew

Another one knocked over! We set these things out for a reason, people!

I know this is not your fault, Mike, but What a horrible headline! I thought everyone in that town had died! My heart lurched in my chest.

The actual article is interesting, and I, too, welcome the goat overlords. Now I’m off to check out all the other links.

I just want to boop Milkshake’s squishy pink nose.

Love the bear taking care of things.

Yes and yes. Bear knows that humans aren’t doing a very good job!

Mike’s comment made me laugh out loud.

I was in Llandudno last summer. Usually it’s a very busy town full of tourists. It seems that the human tourists have gone away, but it’s good to hear that the goat tourists are taking up the slack and supporting the town economy 😉

Do Llandudno and Blackpool still have a kind of ferry service each way? I know they did about a hundred years ago because I researched it for a play I was working on. I learn something new on every show; it’s one of the best parts of my job.

The goats are amazing. I hope they don’t do lasting damage to anything that can’t grow back or be repaired easily, but they sure are fun and interesting to watch.

The Llandudno police have warned people not to visit the town to meet the new social media stars!

Those two and the one who gave the dog a center part but hasn’t managed to do any reading are my favorites.

I almost added that one! We seem to be in sync just now.

All of these links cheered me right up! Thanks Mike. Very important cute antidote to high anxiety.

Spring is in the air, and this morning I was charmed to discover that the elusive toilet roll (bumwiperis maximus) has returned to the shelves of my local supermarket. Approximately twenty specimens of the nine-roll sub-species were flaunting themselves beneath the astonished gaze of shoppers, some of whom declared that they had almost forgotten what these creatures looked like in the wild.

Someone posted this on FB last week and is very appropriate considering your comment.

Be thankful you’re not in Texas, where a truck hauling toilet paper caught fire yesterday.

I’ve been absolutely amazed at the level of humor that’s come out of our self-isolation/quarantine these past several weeks. Shows our resilience at a time we need it most. These are fabulous links, especially the 2-dog eating race. Thanks, Mike. 👍

A fiber dyer has released new colorways related to the virus. Quoting the newsletter that alerted me to them: “Her new Corona virus inspired colorways made me laugh out loud, and they are also so pretty. The colors are clockwise from top left, TP Hoarder, Self Quarantine, Social Distance, and Wash Your Damn Hands.” You can see them here

Waah!!!!! That link wants me to create a gmail account in order to see the link. But I already have a gmail account and it won’t let me look.
