Links: No! No! No! N — Oh, All Right

Reluctant cat dads, bobcats take porch, one-horse town, and potato kitty.

And finally: Fore Play

Cheryl S. caught this video of an unusual golf hazard: The cat trap.

Important: Don’t fall for email scams!

I really hope they got some biscuits.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled links post.

Mabel is the star of this one. Her reactions to the word biscuit are touching and funny.

        She has very expressive ears.

Hilarious as always. I too hope they got biscuits.

Surely they must have gotten biscuits—don’t you think? Such sweet goggehs.

I nearly got taken in by a snail-mail solicitation yesterday. Technically legit, but really borderline scam. Fortunately I checked with my accountant.

It’s pretty far off-topic for this site, but if anyone wants to go down the spam/scam email humor rabbit hole, I recommend videos by James Veitch. Also the considerably older website Scamorama: the Lads from Lagos.

And there are always NTMTOM’s own Dear Spambot posts. We haven’t had one of those in quite a while. Hey, Mike, did you get a better spam filter?

I miss those Dear Spambot posts.

I have seen those James Veitch videos; he’s hilarious. One of them actually came up in my recommended videos sidebar last night.

I, too, miss Dear Spambot. He also once did a “thought for today” post and I think it was the only one. I printed it and it’s still in my cubicle at work. (It was John Cage: “I can’t understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I’m frightened of the old ones.”)

Why do I feel like someone has planted those seeds send anonymously from China?

Great links today, I wish I lived somewhere a horse could go for walks. The bobcat family is GORGEOUS. The cat catching the golf balls is really having fun.

The horse story will not be visible to people in Europe as USA Today redirects to the European version so here is a Youtube link.

Cats are natural goalies. I still think an all-cat air hockey league would be a great thing.

Dear little Potato–so glad her mommy adopted her! And Winston, with his perfectly imperfect personality.

    Those bobcats are just WOW.

    Kitty goalie haz skillz!

Kitties as always are rocking the links. My dad was one of those people that refused to have cats or any pets for that matter, mainly because of my mom’s allergies but also because he wasn’t an animal person. So I move out, get married, get a cat. They come to visit, come down one day and there’s my cat curled up on my dad’s lap while he’s reading the newspaper. Both of them were quite comfortable. And I have the picture to prove it, it’s one of my favorite pics of my dad. This was the same cat that I would find my mom having conversations with. Still miss that sweet boy.
